"My mother first came to the Lindens because of a combination of Parkinson’s and the onset of dementia. Later her poor sight turned to almost total blindness. Throughout all these travails, staff were always attentive, caring and good-spirited. They enjoyed her company and found her very funny, nicknaming her ‘Lady Di’. I’m told, and believe, they came to love her. The Lindens were always well-run and coped well throughout the Covid years. It avoided the horror one read about other care homes. If staff caught Covid, they were sent home with pay. The care provided was superb throughout, being effective and friendly; indeed, when my mother was in the hospital with an infection and the hospital felt it needed to put her on end-of-life care, they agreed to take her back to look after her at the end of her life. In this period, they were especially attentive, careful and caring. The Lindens looks like a clean, well-run country club and is welcoming. The restaurant always looked tempting!"
